Dick Scobee Elementary School Awarded
Boeing Employees Credit Union Grant

Dick Scobee Elementary School received a $1,000 grant from the Boeing Employees Credit Union—one of the school’s business partners. The grant money went toward the purchase of new bench seating in the front of the school.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new bench seating is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3, at 9 a.m. Mark Peterson, the manager at the local Boeing Employees Credit Union, will be present to cut the ribbon on one bench, and Dick Scobee’s ASB president will cut the ribbon on the second bench.
