Washington Elementary School Teacher
Named Teacher of the Week

Washington Elementary School Teacher Pat Jackl has been named Teacher of the Week in a Western Washington contest conducted by STAR 101.5 radio.

Ms. Jackl was nominated as STAR 101.5’s “Teacher of the Week” by her fourth grade student Selena Sweet.   

STAR 101.5 on-air personality, Ana Kelly, will make a surprise visit and deliver prizes to Ms. Jackl’s Washington Elementary classroom on Friday, October 6, at 11:15 a.m. At the surprise party, Ms. Jackl will receive a personalized plaque from Issaquah Trophies, a special gift from Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, and a $100 check from Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union and STAR 101.5. Each student will receive a goody bag full of prizes from Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, Dairy Farmers of Washington, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, New York Cupcakes and STAR 101.5.

STAR 101.5’s “Teacher of the Week” is a 12-week program that allows students and parents to recognize deserving educators for their commitment to the quality education of local children.
