Auburn Mountainview High School Marching Band Competes in
Puget Sound Festival of Bands

On Saturday, October 27, the Auburn Mountainview High School (AMHS) Marching Band competed at the Puget Sound Festival of Bands in Everett, Washington. Performing with 27 other marching bands from around the Northwest, the Roar of the Lions Marching Band received third place (in AA Division with five bands).

Drum majors Michelle Happenny and Jon Urmenita, and color guard captain Mishala Chalmers led the Lions through a fine performance of the field show, “Virtruvian Man.”

The AMHS Marching Band has one more competition on its schedule, the Auburn Veterans Day Parade Field Show Competition at Auburn Memorial Field on November 10.
