"Reaching Out Fair" 2001

The public is invited to attend a youth safety event, the “Reaching Out Fair,” on Thursday, October 18, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Auburn Performing Arts Center.  The fair, which will be co-hosted for the third year by Auburn School District and the Cities of Auburn, Algona, and Pacific, will focus upon sharing information about the community assets essential in keeping children and youth safe in contemporary American society. 

The Reaching Out Fair will present student talent competitions and student testimonials about people who have made a difference in their lives.   A resource fair featuring community resources such as the Auburn Parks and Recreation, YMCA, Auburn Youth Resources (AYR), Green River Community College, and Children’s Home Society will be available to event participants from 6 to 7 p.m.  Free refreshments and childcare will be provided.
