Sixth Annual "Reaching Out Fair" to be
Held Thursday, October 14

The public is being invited to attend the sixth annual “Reaching Out Fair,” on Thursday, October 14, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Auburn Performing Arts Center (PAC).  The fair, which will be co-hosted by the Auburn School District, Green River Community College, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, and the Cities of Auburn, Algona, and Pacific, will focus upon sharing information about the community resources essential to keeping children and youth safe.

The “Reaching Out Fair” will present student talent and student testimonials about individuals who have made a difference in their lives.  The fair’s theme, “Time After Time,” emphasizes the importance that individuals can make to others and will be reflected throughout the event. 

The Auburn SuperMall has donated  $200 worth of gift certificates to be given to middle school students attending the “Reaching Out Fair” based upon their participation in the information fair.

An information fair featuring community resources such as Auburn Parks and Recreation, YMCA, Auburn Youth Resources (AYR), Green River Community College, Children’s Home Society, and others will be available to event participants from 6 to 7 p.m. in the PAC lobby.  The information fair will be specifically geared toward middle school students.  Free refreshments including pizza and soft drinks will be provided.
