Julie Futch Selected As One of Top
Fifty Girl Basketball Players

Julie Futch, Auburn Riverside High School senior, was selected by the women’s basketball journal, Full Court Press, as one of the top 50 girl basketball players in the Class of ’06 for her basketball abilities as a guard. The rubric that was used to determine the top 50 female basketball seniors focused on projecting the athletes’ college performance. The guide determines that “factoring in anticipated improvement…means attitude is critical.” The following colleges and universities have sent letters of interest to Julie: Gonzaga, University of Washington, Portland State, and Washington State.
