Former Auburn School Board Director Dr. Therald Leonard
to Be Celebrated at September 29 Retirement Party

The Auburn School Board of Directors cordially invites all community citizens and Auburn School District staff and families to attend former Auburn School Board Director Dr. Therald Leonard’s retirement party. Dr. Leonard will be honored for his 31 years of service on Friday, September 29, from 3-5 p.m. in the board room at the James P. Fugate Administration Building.

Dr. Leonard retired in July. His long legacy of serving the communities of Auburn, Algona and Pacific as a school board member will be missed. His consistent leadership and forward-looking thinking provided stability and direction to the board. He contributed to the innovation and enhancement of children’s education in the district year after year.

Dr. Leonard’s tenure with the Auburn School Board is the longest of any director. He lauds the district for its consistency in providing quality educational programs and maintaining all of the schools in the best possible condition.
