Three Auburn Riverside High School Teachers Honored By
Washington State University's Educator of Excellence Program

Three Auburn Riverside High School teachers were nominated by their former students—now at Washington State University (WSU)—for making a difference in their lives. Doug Aubert, DECA and marketing instructor, Mark Davis, chemistry and debate instructor, and Tim Wright, language arts and AP department head, were honored as outstanding educators by WSU’s Educator of Excellence program.

The second annual Educator of Excellence program gives incoming WSU students the opportunity to nominate an educator that they felt made a difference in their life. WSU then honors these educators at two events. The first event was held in Seattle on September 8th and the second event was held in Pullman on September 15th. Each educator received a framed certificate that is personalized with their student’s quote.
