McDonalds Takeover Night a "Smashing" Success
Representatives from Terminal Park Elementary Staff invaded the Auburn Way South McDonalds October 22nd to raise funds for Camp Auburn tuition. From a french fry toss that turned into a whipped cream pie in the face to chocolate chip cookie sales, students and families left with big smiles. Mrs. McIntyre arranged for the event through ASB and the restaurant management. Not only that, she worked the front counter with Kady for three hours straight. As a result of the kindness of the McDonalds' management and the Terminal Park Community, we raised over $900.00 that will help pay down the cost of Camp Auburn for all fifth grade students. Thank you to everyone for the support. We will have another takeover night on March 18, 2010.
Conferences Week Coinciding with PTA Book Fair
Terminal Park's teachers are preparing for conferences with parents starting November 18th and continuing through November 20th. During the conference days, students will be released from school at 12:10. There will be no kindergarten classes during the conference times. Please notify the office if you are unable to meet during the time that is designated by your child's teacher and need to reschedule. The PTA will also be conducting a book fair during conference week with a special event night on Thursday, November 19th.
