Hop Jacks Fundraiser!
Join us on August 8
Our main Pantry Project sponsor, Hop Jack's, will be hosting a fundraiser for APSF on August 8. From 5:00 - 8:00 that evening, the restaurant will be donating 20% of all food and drink proceeds in support of the Pantry Project. With this ongoing support over the summer months we are in position to stock many additional Auburn schools when students return to the classroom in September.
Please mark your calendar and come join us on August 8 at the Lakeland Hills Hop Jack's location!
APSF made over $10,000 in grants
during its spring grant cycle
As support for the Foundation has increased, we've been able to step up funding for projects and programs around the school district. Read about our most recent grant awards here! Contact us to talk about what you can do to help us grant opportunities for student success.
Coming this Thanksgiving:
The Auburn Turkey Trot 5k!
We're excited to announce a new event that we'll be hosting on Thanksgiving 2017. The Auburn Turkey Trot will begin and end at Sunset Park in Lakeland Hills.
More information will be published over the next few weeks. In the meantime, please mark your calendars and plan to join us on Thanksgiving morning!
APSF Launches the Auburn Pantry Project
The Auburn Pantry Project is a new area of support under our Healthy Choices grant.
Through this project, APSF will provide each elementary school applicant a periodic stipend to be used to acquire various supplies including:
- Food (fresh or packaged) to supplement Food to Go, mid-morning snacks, before or after school activities, or other special needs,
- Hygiene items (toothpaste/brushes, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene, diapers, underclothing, lice kits, etc.),
- Other basic related supplies, etc.
A big THANK YOU to Hop Jack's restaurant in Lakeland Hills for helping us get this project started.
