• CHESS CLUB NEWS
    Chess club has started. Meetings are every Monday in Room 600 from 2:45 - 4:00.

    Players of all skill levels are welcome. We will teach novices to be good players, and good players will have a place to compete.
    We will compete in the South Puget Sound League starting in December. I will post the schedule once I get it.
    We have gone to state many years in a row.

    CHESS WILL MAKE YOU SMARTER!!
    There have been many studies to show that chess will increase your IQ. Specifically, it improves your spatial reasoning skills. If you want to be a better thinker, you should learn to play chess.
    This is an informal club. You don't need to sign up. It's ok if you can't come every week or if you come late or if you can't stay the whole time. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.
