    Hello Evergreen Heights Families

    My name is Tonni Vu and I am excited to announce that I am the new Principal at Evergreen Heights Elementary. This fall marks the start of my 15th year in education.  For the past 7 years, I have served as school administrator.  Prior to that I taught elementary school and middle school math.  I look forward to learning about you and your student.

    My hope is to assure you that our plan this year is to create a strong partnership with families as we move forward with online learning.  We know you will help us get students online and motivated and we will take ownership of the academic learning.  We each have a critical role in your student’s academic success.  Student success is dependent on our hope that we will thrive in this new atmosphere of online learning. 

    We will spend time getting to know you and your students.  We have found that smaller groups online benefit students.  Please make every effort to support your student to get to their small group classes as we move forward.  Also, please continue to read to, and with, your student.  We cannot say enough good things about teaching our children to love reading from the youngest ages.

    Our team is committed to growing in our ability to engage, educate and empower students in their academic and social emotional learning, in person or online.  Together we will continue to make Evergreen Heights Elementary School a positive place of learning for all students.
