• Not feeling well.Staff Who are Sick or Have Symptoms Must Stay Home

    • Staff who get sick after arriving to work should return home immediately
    • Work with Human Resources regarding leave options
    • No staff member may come to work or school if any of these COVID-19 symptoms are present:

      • Fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher 
      • Cough
      • Loss of taste or smell
      • Chills
      • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
      • FatigueHeadache
      • Muscle or body aches
      • Sore throat
      • Congestion or runny nose
      • Nausea or vomiting
      • Diarrhea
  • Follow Up if COVID Positive Outcome in Building

    • If a student or staff member tests positive, notify the COVID site supervisor and school nurse for contact tracing
    • If you are identified as a close contact with a person who is COVID positive, we will contact you directly. We will provide as much information as possible while protecting the identity of the positive person
    • If you test positive, you will be required to quarantine. The length of time will be determined by the COVID site supervisor and health team.
    • There are different scenarios and situations that can impact quarantine requirements and testing options. The COVID site supervisor or health team will communicate with you to determine testing options and dates
    • If directed to quarantine, you must stay home until the date indicated. Please communicate test results received with your COVID site supervisor.
    • For those who have close contact but do not test positive, the Auburn School District is using the Public Health-Seattle & King County 10 day quarantine guidance with a test option on day 5 to return on day 7 if negative results are received
    • Please contact your COVID site supervisor if you have additional questions
    • Vaccinated staff without symptoms are not required to quarantine.
