How Frogs are born and turn in to Frogs

Frogs start out as eggs in the water. From the jelly-covered eggs � thousands of them � tadpoles emerge. They have gills, a big head and a long tail. Many of these little guys will get eaten up by fish and other predators. The next step for the tadpole has it turning into a froglet. At this stage it grows four legs and its body shrinks. At the finale stage of growth the froglet becomes a frog. This happens when the tail shrinks away and it grows lungs, which allow it to live outside the water.
