MISSION:
To provide a physically, socially and emotionally safe and caring learning environment.

VISION:
It is the vision of the Auburn School District's Safety and Security Department to safeguard the lives and well-being of students, staff and visitors. As part of the learning community, focus on establishing and building relationships with students while maintaining a lens of equity.

Our schools have a comprehensive system of layered security measures in place across each building. All school buildings and sites have secure entrances with controlled access. Visitors are required to sign in. Lockdown procedures are practiced multiple times each year by staff and students. The district also has multiple ways that students, staff, parents and community members can safely and anonymously report a potential crisis, inappropriate behavior or suspicious activity to school administrators via SafeSchools.
