Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs

The Prevention and Intervention Program is committed to fostering and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment in our schools. Our missions is to reduce, prevent, and eliminate underage drug and alcohol use by engaging, educating, and empowering all members of our multicultural community. Our team provides universal prevention education, school wide campaigns and assemblies, early intervention, support groups, individual intervention, and referrals to community-based treatment and recovery support services. We also support a drug free prevention coalition which aims to provide substance use disorder prevention services and strategies in Auburn and create healthier communities by building strengths in families, schools and neighborhoods. The Auburn Prevention Coalition is funded by the Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI)
