    Michelle Binetti - President

    Michelle Binetti is dedicated and committed to the community of Auburn and its future. She is a life-long resident of Auburn and an Alumni of the Auburn School District. Michelle has worked for the ASD for the past 10 years and is an active parent and community volunteer. She is the past PTA President of Terminal Park Elementary and PTSA Vice President for Olympic Middle School. She is a current board member in the Sons of Italy and has been the Event Chairperson for the APSF on a volunteer basis for the last two years. Michelle attended Central Washington University. Her father, Joseph Binetti, is a former Auburn Principal and Camp Auburn Director. She is a mother of three sons all who have and are attending Auburn Schools.

  • Linda Graves - Co-Vice President

    Linda Graves - Co-Vice President

    Linda Graves is a lifetime Auburn resident. She attended Washington Elementary and Cascade Middle School and graduated from Auburn High School. She attended Green River Community College and went on to graduate from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a Master of Education degree in exercise physiology.

    Linda was an active volunteer at Washington Elementary and served as PTA vice president. She is passionate about school health and currently serves as chair of the district’s wellness committee. Linda has worked with schools for the past 10 years. She is employed by Tacoma Pierce County Health Department as a health promotion coordinator for the past 12 years.

    Linda has a son in 10th grade at Auburn High School.

    Nickole Evans-Buck - Co-Vice President

    Nickole Evans-Buck has been an active member of the Auburn community since 2008. She is Past-President of the Auburn Valley Kiwanis club and was a Commissioner for the Auburn Arts Commission. She graduated with her MA in Organizational Change from Hawaii Pacific University and her BA in Human Services from Western Washington University. She currently works as a Case Manager for the Developmental Disabilities Administration. Her 2 young girls both attend Green River Montessori School. Her hobbies include international disaster relief, volunteering, body building, hiking, boating, camping and spending time with her daughters and husband Mike. Nickole is passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential.

    Erin Bender - Secretary

    Erin Bender is a long-time Auburn resident who attended Lea Hill Elementary, Hazelwood Elementary, Rainier Middle School and Auburn High School. She attended Highline Community College and Central Washington University. She coached girls' basketball at Auburn High School for 8 years and continues involvement with that program, serving as Treasurer for their Booster Club. Erin's father, Ed Bender, was a teacher and coach in the Auburn School District for 22 years and her sister, Kellyn Penoncello, taught for 3 years at Arthur Jacobsen Elementary. Erin is very excited to be a part of this foundation and looks forward to be able to give back to the school district and community that has given her and her family so much. She currently works for Valley Buick GMC in Auburn as the HR Representative and resides in Lakeland Hills.

    Shelly Clair - Treasurer

    Shelly is the founding Foundation Treasurer. Shelly Trussler Clair, Treasurer ~ Shelly is the founding Foundation Treasurer. Shelly and her husband Darrell graduated from Auburn High School and both earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting from Central Washington University. Their two children graduated from Auburn Mountainview High School and UW. Shelly was previously employed as a Controller with Oldcastle Precast, part of CRH, a global building materials supplier. After 20 years, she left Oldcastle to be more involved with her children. Currently, she is active in family business interests involving commercial and residential property ownership and development. She has served as Treasurer for several organizations including Hazelwood Elementary PTA, Rainier Middle School PTA, and Auburn Mountainview Booster Club.

  • Laurie Bishop

    Laurie Bishop

    Laurie Bishop has been involved with the youth in the Auburn community for the last 15 years. She has volunteered with the PTA at Pioneer Elementary School in several roles including Treasurer. In addition, she is actively involved in the youth sports community. Laurie has a BA in Public Relations from Central Washington University, a Certificate of Accounting from City University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Laurie and her family have lived in Auburn since 1991. Her family has a long history in the Auburn Schools. Her husband and both of their children are Auburn High School graduates. Today one child is attending Boise State University and the other is in graduate school at Utah State. She recently accepted a position as the Chief Financial Officer for Kennedy/Jenks Consultants.

    Laurie also serves as a member and current president of the Auburn School Board and is the board's representative to the foundation for 2017.

  • Laura Theimer

    Laura Theimer

    Laura is a founding board member of the Foundation. She and her husband Tony met at Green River Community College after high school. Tony is a graduate of Auburn High and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. Laura received her Bachelor of Computer Science from Western Washington University. Their two daughters are graduates of Auburn Riverside High School and are currently attending the UW and WWU. Laura has been a licensed insurance agent for 20 years and works for an agency in town. She has also served in volunteer positions for groups such as PTA, Booster Club, school district committees, and community organizations. Laura and her family are excited to be part of providing opportunities for student success.

    Kris Brock

    Kris Brock loves living in Auburn and is constantly looking for opportunities to serve and support the community. She has worked for the Auburn School District for the last 11 years. Before that she volunteered in elementary, middle and high school as her 2 boys went through the school system. Kris has served as a Commissioner for the Auburn’s Arts Commission. She has also headed up the Survivor Committee for Auburn’s Relay For Life. She continues to volunteer at Grace Community Church in Auburn. Kris and her husband Steve spend their free time traveling and spending time with their two grown boys and daughter-in-law.

  • David Paulson

    David Paulson

    David Paulson grew up in the Auburn community and attended Ilalko Elementary, Mt. Baker Middle School, and Auburn Riverside High School. He received a full ride football scholarship to the University of Oregon and was a part of three pac-12/10 conference championship teams. David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon. He was drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 7th round of the 2012 draft. He played two seasons for the Steelers and one season for the San Diego Chargers. Since retiring from the NFL David has worked for an international soccer tournament, was a substitute teacher, and currently works for BECU. David is looking forward to giving back to the Auburn community and helping students reach their potential.

    Dr. Alan Spicciati

    Dr. Alan Spicciati is the Superintendent for the Auburn School District. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, with a double major in music education and performance. He earned his Master’s Degree from the University of Washington’s Danforth Educational Leadership Program, and his Superintendent certification and Doctor of Education at Seattle Pacific University. He served as a teacher, principal, administrator and interim superintendent at Highline Public Schools. He has a passion for working with families from all communities and values partnerships with community organizations and businesses. He is a member of Rotary, is on the Communities in Schools Advisory Board, Cities in Schools board and spent many years involved in Little League. Alan loves the Auburn community and works passionately on behalf of the students of the Auburn School District. Alan and his wife Shannon live in Auburn and have two teenage sons.

    Natasha Daily - Executive Director

    Natasha Daily has been the Executive Director of the Auburn Public Schools Foundation since March, 2018. As a graduate of the Auburn School District (go Trojans!), she is proud to be in a position to give back to a district that she got so much out of. Natasha has a BA degree in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University, and is currently working towards her Masters in Organizational Development and Change Management at Gonzaga University. Outside of school and work, Natasha lives in West Seattle with her husband and two dogs.
