Sheilia McLaughlin has many years of experience as a volunteer and supporter of Auburn schools. She has held several PTA board positions in the last 12 years, board positions on the Auburn Council of PTAs, was on the Region 9 Service Delivery Team and is the past Region 9 Legislative Chair for Washington State PTA. Sheilia is the co-chair for the Holiday Hamper program at Messiah Lutheran Church where she also cooks a monthly community supper for people experiencing homelessness. She is a Realtor and a managing broker for John L. Scott Seattle Northwest. She attended Western Wyoming College, University of Wyoming and Highline College. Sheilia has lived in Auburn for 13 years. Her daughter graduated from Auburn High in 2020.

Arlista Holman has extensive experience serving the community. Mrs. Holman served as a board member for the City of Auburn Human Services Committee, was a Trustee at Green River College, served on the board for Auburn Youth Resources (now NEXUS), served as a Board Trustee for Wesley Homes, and served on the Washington State Investment Board, where she was a member of the Public Markets committee and Audit Committee chair. Mrs. Holman retired after 30 years working in the Auburn School District. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BS in Business Management. Her two children graduated from Auburn schools.

Valerie Gonzales is a longtime Auburn resident who brings energy and a passion for serving students to her role on the board. She is the mother of five, four who currently attend Auburn schools and one ASD graduate. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse who works at Maxim Health Care. She began her nursing career in long-term care and currently works in a school setting with medically fragile students. She earned her nursing degree from Green River College. Having equitable opportunities for all students and staff is a priority for Director Gonzales.

Laura Theimer has served in a variety of volunteer roles throughout the Auburn community. She has been the president of the Auburn Public Schools Foundation and the Auburn Downtown Association. She also has been involved in PTA at the school and regional level, served on the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce and several ASD committees. She has lived in Auburn for 15 years with her husband, who is a graduate of Auburn High School. Her two daughters graduated from Auburn Riverside, and currently one is attending the University of Washington and one is attending Western Washington University.

Shelly Combs is a lifelong resident of Auburn and a graduate of Auburn High School. She has two children who currently attend the Auburn School District. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington. She has been involved with PTA for the last eight years and continues to enjoy volunteering within the schools.
