IMPORTANT: Get Eligible Before Hiring Night!
To be ready for an interview, we encourage you to complete your paraeducator eligibility requirements before October 15, 2026.
You do NOT need to take an assessment if you already have:
- A high school diploma/GED and 72 college credits or 48 semester credits from courses at the 100 level or higher, -OR-
- An associate degree or higher
If you do not meet the requirements above, you may qualify through one of these options:
ParaPathways Assessment
- Reading & Writing: 324
- Mathematics: 325
- Combined Assessment: $59
Find a ParaPathways Test Center
-OR-
Master Teacher Program
- Cost: $55
- Includes courses and a proctored final exam at the District Office
