Specialty Vaccination Event for Youth with Disabilities - June 5
The Alliance of People with disAbilities, in partnership with Public Health Seattle King County, the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and the Auburn School District is hosting a fully accessible and inclusive vaccination clinic for youth with disabilities (12+)
When: Saturday, June 5 10AM-1PM
Where: Washington Elementary, 20 E St NE, Auburn WA
Who: This event has been specifically tailored and designed for:
- People with disabilities (12+)
- Family members of people with disabilities
Translation Services: ASL & Deaf-Blind Interpreters are available to be on-site if there is a need. Please indicate if you have this need in your registration.
Accommodations/Other Services: In-car vaccinations are available for people who have difficulty ambulating, easy access to seating in all areas of the clinic, low-sensory clinic, fidget/sensory items available, space to pace/walk, volunteers trained in the communication/behavioral needs of people with disabilities. Spoken language interpreters available upon request.
This clinic will be distributing first dose vaccinations of Pfizer. Parental consent is required for vaccination of a minor. Second dose appointments will be scheduled at the clinic for June 26.
