  • Community Forum for Public Comments on Superintendent Search: The ASD Board of Directors invites the community to a forum from 6:30-8 p.m., March 30 in the JPF Administration Building. Puget Sound ESD will facilitate the event.   Community members and staff are encouraged to attend to provide input on the qualities and priorities for the next ASD superintendent.

  • KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS OPEN
     
    Do you have a child who will be 5 by August 31? Registration packets are available at your local elementary school. The ASD provides free, all-day Kindergarten at all elementary schools.

  • SMARTER BALANCED

    This spring, students in grades 3-8 and 11 will take the new Smarter Balanced tests in English and math. These required tests replace the MSP and HSPE.

  • Word of the Month: Perseverance

    Perseverance is when you do not give up to reach your goal, even when things get hard. If something is important to you, make it a priority and you will attain your dream. Students who receive the STUDENT OF THE MONTH award for PERSEVERANCE will be given their award at the all school Assembly on April 3rd.

  • King County Math Contest

    Ms. Flanders' 3rd Grade class won 1st place in the Sumdog's King County Math Contest. Also, two students placed 2nd and 3rd by answering the most questions correctly.

  • State Testing for Grades 3-5 Begins March 27th

    Dates for each portion of the test are marked on the School Website Calendar. Please make sure your child arrives at school on time on these days and has had a good night sleep.
