Dear Pioneer Elementary Families,

Welcome! My name is Nolan Moyer and I am super excited to be starting my 3rd year as the Family Engagement Liaison at Pioneer Elementary. The families, students, and staff here create such a welcoming community that I am honored to be a part of.

When I am not at school I spend most of my time either skiing or traveling, soaking up as many new landscapes and cultures as possible.

I believe that student success isn’t just achieved at school, but as a team that includes the student, their family, their peers, and community members, in a partnership with the school. I also believe that strong communication and relationship building is an important part of student success. On that note please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

Wondering how we can team-up? I can help you find opportunities to volunteer, communicate with the teacher better, provide academic materials, provide information about resources in the community, and help with any question/concern you might have, big or small.

I like to keep myself as accessible as possible so I have a cellphone that you can call or text, 253-765-8238. You can also call the school, send me an E-mail, or reach out to me through ParentSquare. Whatever is easiest for you works for me.

I wish I spoke every language but unfortunately I only speak English and Spanish. However please don’t let that stop you from reaching out, we have access to interpreters both over the phone and in person.
