  • Community Forum for Public Comments on Superintendent Search: The ASD Board of Directors invites the community to a forum from 6:30-8 p.m., March 30 in the JPF Administration Building. Puget Sound ESD will facilitate the event.   Community members and staff are encouraged to attend to provide input on the qualities and priorities for the next ASD superintendent.

  • KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS OPEN
     
    Do you have a child who will be 5 by August 31? Registration packets are available at your local elementary school. The ASD provides free, all-day Kindergarten at all elementary schools.

  • SMARTER BALANCED

    This spring, students in grades 3-8 and 11 will take the new Smarter Balanced tests in English and math. These required tests replace the MSP and HSPE.

  • March 30 Community Forum

    The ASD Board of Directors invites the community to a forum from 6:30-8 p.m., March 30 in the JPF Administration Building.  Community members, parents and staff are encouraged to attend to provide input on the qualities and priorities for the next ASD superintendent.

    Staff from the Puget Sound Educational Service District in Renton will facilitate the forum.

    Board President Carol Seng said, “This is an excellent opportunity for the community to provide input on who will lead our district for the next chapter in our district’s future.”

    The superintendent position opens April 6 and the school board plans to vote at the June 8 board meeting to fill the position.

    The Auburn Community Scholarship due date has been extended to next Tuesday, the 31st. If you would like to turn yours in this week and the College and Career Center is not open, please hand it in to the Counseling Office. Remember to make sure your application is complete and that you have included two Letters of Recommendation and two copies of your entire packet.
