  • Highly Capable Program Permission to Test – click here for form and information - Referrals Open December 1, 2014 through January 16, 2015:

    Auburn School District is now accepting referrals for the 2015-2016 Highly Capable Program, a program that serves exceptionally intelligent, intellectually gifted students whose needs may not be easily met in the general program. Once a student is identified as highly capable, he/she is entitled to Highly Capable program services from the date of eligibility through graduation; annual testing is not required. Nominations close January 16, 2015.   • Bio EOC Review Sessions 
    Please note times of the Bio EOC Review Sessions. Topics will vary depending upon needs of those attending. The first 2 sessions will be an overview of the exam, what to review, what we have learned from past test results. Check out Mrs. Shaw’s webpage, General Biology documents and click on the Bio EOC Review Powerpoint. We will go over parts of this powerpoint during the review sessions.

    SPSL Champs - 2 players All League Colby Tong - SPSL Player of the Year, SPSL Champion 8 of 8 players qualified for West Central District Colby Tong - 3rd at WCD, qualified for State in the Spring.

  • Auburn Riverside High School All-State and Northwest Honors Band

    Auburn Riverside will be well-represented at the All-State Band event in February in Spokane. Thousands of students audition and only 150-200 are chosen. The following students were selected for the All-State Band: Diego Cabanas Kasey Green Alivia Hammond Sunny Lee Hailey Wagner Mya Wagner The Northwest Honors Band will perform in January at Pacific Lutheran University. These students were nominated by their teacher based on dedication, musical ability and work ethic. Only 200 students are accepted. These students were selected for the Northwest Honors Band: Jonna Baker Diego Cabanas Alivia Hammond Chandler Price Erica Russaw Dru Wickenkamp

    Intern Program

    Each year the Auburn School District selects a number of students that have shown an interest in learning more about the installation and maintenance of the computers and network to participate in an internship program.  Successful applicants will be trained after school during second semester.  Following the training period, the interns will be evaluated for possible employment by the district during the summer and/or the 2015-2016 school year.

    Applicants should prepare a cover letter which explains their interest in the position, why, and what experience they have working with computers. 

    In your letter describe your experience/exposure to the following:

    • People/technology (interaction) 
    • Personal Computers (amount of exposure - kinds)
    • Operating Systems (Windows XP, 2003, Vista, 7, 8, 2008, 2012, Mac OSX)
    • Networking - (kind and amount of exposure)
    • Internet
    • Data Communications

    In addition, students should prepare and submit a resume.  Applications are due to Ms. Dudley in room 204 or Mr. Medina in room 349 by January 9 with interviews being scheduled after that date.
