Enrollment Process

Enrollment in West Auburn High School is ongoing throughout the school year, including summer.
West Auburn High School offers:

Required Steps to enroll:
ASD Student (have attended within the last nine months)
- Be recommend by your counselor or administrator from your ASD home school. They will send West Auburn a referral.
- West Auburn staff will contact you to schedule a placement conference.
- Attend the placement conference to learn more about the different program options at West Auburn.
- Complete the West Auburn enrollment packet.
- Begin your selected program on date determined.
Non ASD Students:
- Students must obtain a release from their home district, apply and be accepted for a waiver in Auburn.
- Complete a Pre-Registration Sheet in person or online.
- Provide all needed records to West Auburn staff for review.
- Once your records have been received and reviewed, West Auburn Staff will contact you to set up a placement conference.
- Attend the placement conference to learn more about the different program options at West Auburn.
- Complete the West Auburn enrollment packet.
- Begin your selected program on date determined.
*ELL or IEP Plan – Depending on the level of services needed, West Auburn is not always able to offer the best accommodations for some students.
Dates and times of intake sessions:
- Initial intake meetings are scheduled Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30am-2:00pm.
- New students to the Learning Center Program - Intakes for scheduling will be done on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Students entering Day School, must be enrolled within the first two weeks of each quarter. If two weeks has already passed, students can enter one of the other programs and then enter Day School at the beginning of the next quarter.
*West Auburn High School may not be able to meet the needs of all students.
