It is extremely important that every student participate in all of the concerts. Sickness of family emergencies will be excusedIf you have conflicts on concert dates, please contact me early so that we can work out a solution together.

    Orchestra Concerts:

December 13, 2018 at 7 PM at the Auburn Riverside Theatre (ART)

8th Grade: December 17, 2018 at Seattle Center (Winterfest)

March 28, 2019 at 7 PM at the Auburn Performing Arts Center (PAC)

June 18, 2019 at 7 PM at the Auburn Riverside Theatre (ART)

Practice sheets are due every week by all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They are required to practice 90 minutes per week with a parent signature. It is best to plan a daily practice time in a quiet place. Uninterrupted practice time is very important. Students should practice the parts of the music that is challenging to them. Taking a small chunk of the music and rehearsing it VERY SLOWLY will make that section easier over time.
