We will be hanging up paper puzzle pieces with your name on it. Feel free to take the puzzle that has your name but be considerate of others. We will start our “AHS Missing Piece” activity the week after mid-winter break. What is “AHS Missing Piece”? well let me tell you. Auburn High has over 1,500 students and we all know that we tend to stick with our own groups. This activity consist of you finding your Auburn High missing piece; which is someone new we hope for you to meet. Once you find the puzzle with your name on it, tie it to your bag or backpack. When you find the other person that has the matching puzzle piece, take a selfie with them and go claim your prize in the activities office.

Good news Trojans!  The Armory will be open today. If you checked out gear last week, this is your chance to check it back in. It is also a GREAT opportunity to Getchya gear to root on the Trojans in the playoffs. The boy’s basketball team will be playing at Washington High School against Prarie on Friday night. Your League Champion wrestling  team will be competing in regionals at North Thurston on Saturday. Boys swimmers will be at Hazen Friday and Saturday and our gymnast will be competing on Saturday at Mt. Rainer HS. Remember, it’s FREE to check out gear.

It’s Time! You can pick up an application in the activities to be a Camp Auburn Counselor in the spring. We have two weeks this year so there is plenty of opportunity to be included. Camp is open to all 10th through 12th graders. Make sure you get your application in by TODAY!

It’s that time of year Trojans!  Who will be Mr. AHS 2016?  Come watch this year’s contestants as they wow us with their talents, shock us with their athleticism, and win us over with their charm and charisma.  All the profits made from this year’s show will go to Relay for Life. Mark your calendars for March 31st, the doors will open at 6:30 and the show will begin at 7, tickets are only $5.00. Senior boys who are interested can sign up to participate for this year’s competition after mid-winter break during lunch.

Seniors planning to attend Green River College in the Fall should consider participating in our application workshop on Feb 29th.  Are you looking for good way to make some money this summer?  If so, you’ll want to check out the Ecology Youth Corps.
