Make your holiday wishes at the table at lunch by the spirit tree. THIS WEEK ONLY!
Senior Trojans! If you believe there should be senior quotes in the yearbook, give me an OHH YEAHH! These quotes need to be original and created by you and turned in by this Friday. Submit to the box in the activities office or emailed to email@example.com

Auditions for the Winter musical are in two weeks. “Damn Yankees” is a musical about a man who sells his soul to the devil in order to play baseball and beat the Yankees. Based on the book “The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant”, it includes the hit songs “You Got to have Heart”, “Shoeless Joe From Hannibal, Mo.”, “Two Lost Souls”, and “Whatever Lola Wants”. This show opened on Broadway in 1955 and ran for over 1000 performances.
Sign-ups will be posted in the Theatre Arts classroom 501. If you want to have an ensemble/walk-on role you need to attend as many of the audition days as possible. People auditioning for supporting and lead roles must attend all three days of auditions. You should have a one to two minute comedy monologue memorized for presentation, a ‘verse and a chorus’ of a popular song or show-tune, and attend the “all call” dance audition. We will also need a very large backstage crew, including simple and advanced technical skills. See Mr. Kerr in room 501 for details.
Students in grades 10-12…sign up now in the Career Center to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, otherwise known as the “ASVAB” on December 8th. This test is used for military enlistment, but all students should consider taking it…especially if interested in CTE classes like Electronics, Auto Technology, Wood Design and Welding. The ASVAB interest survey that follows the test can be used to fulfill this requirement in the Senior Project.
