Welcome Class of 2021!!
April 19 - 30 - It’s the ARHS Food Drive! Food insecurity is at a high level in the Auburn Community, so Auburn Riverside is uniting with AMHS and AHS to hold a high school food drive from April 19 - 30. There will be a number of ways to help, including donations by all students once we open in hybrid, so watch for more details soon! Senior Families, please plan to make a donation to the Auburn Food Bank of either cans or checks/ money at Senior Cap and Gown pick up on April 19. This is an opportunity for Seniors to participate one last time in the Food Drive and help out our friends and neighbors. Auburn United!
The purpose of the emergency waiver program is to help prevent students from being negatively impacted by the COVID19 Pandemic. The Credit and Graduation Pathway Waivers apply to the Classes of 2020 and 2021 in the 2020-2021 school year. Only students “Reasonably expected to graduate” during the 2021 school year may be eligible. “Reasonably expected to graduate” means your student’s earned credits and current or planned enrollment would have been sufficient for your student to meet the applicable state minimum graduation requirements by the end of the school year.
April 27-28, 2021 - The ELPA21 annual assessment is an online assessment given to all students who are eligible for English language development (ELD) services. The ELPA21 annual assessment measures students’ English language proficiency, both knowledge and skills, in four language domains (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). Students can score between a level 1 and level 5 in each of these language domains. Students who score at a level 4 and/or 5 in all of the domains on the annual ELPA21 assessment will transition out of ELD services.
