Auburn Mountainview High School

Host families are needed for thirteen Japanese high school students (boys and girls) who will be visiting AMHS next fall from Monday, October 7^th, through Friday, November 1^st, 2013. Students come from Komaba Gakuen High School in Tokyo, which has been sending students to AMHS every year since 2007 . While they are here, students will be attending AMHS on school days and assisting in Japanese class, taking supplementary ESL classes, and going on weekly fieldtrips.

Host families have the opportunity to make lasting friendships and get an international experience without ever leaving home, and we also provide a $500 stipend to help cover food and gas costs.
