-Boys interested in basketball, opens gyms this week will be Monday and Wednesday at 7:00.
-Trojans: During passing times the hallways are crowded and continuing to move on the right side of hallways to your next class is important and will help us all get there safety and on time. All Trojans have the right of way to get to their classrooms on time and this includes our students who need to navigate our hallways on crutches, in a walking boot, or in a wheelchair. We need everyone being Organized and moving towards their next class Together so that all may succeed. Thank you, AHS Admin.
-University of Washington-Seattle is coming to talk to you! The representative will be here during sixth period on Tuesday, September 27. Sign up to attend the session in the career center (room 212E), on the Google Form in your grade-level Google Classroom, or e-mail Ms. Marshall.
-It is GEAR UP week and GEAR UP will be having different activities throughout the week:
Monday-GEAR UP Tabling during Lunches
Tuesday-Vision Boards in the library- during both lunches
Thursday- Musuem of Flight Field Trip
-GEAR UP is hosting their first Family Engagement Night on Sept. 28
We will also be having a taco bar in celebration of Hispanic heritage month. If you have any questions, come and see us in room 317.
Thursday 9/29- Homecoming Theme will be announced during announcements.
GEAR UP is visiting the Museum of Flight and will be exploring the expedition to Mars on Thursday, Sept. 29th. This will be a school day field trip and we currently have 26 spots open. If you are interested in attending this field or have more questions, visit the GEAR UP office in room 317.

-Come see Mr. Paustian’s Jazz Band “Groove Amendment” and the a cappella group OUTPOUR perform on-stage in the PAC Saturday, October 1 in a concert to benefit the Auburn High School Music Program. Tickets are just $15, or $10 for students. It’s a great way to enjoy some excellent music for a good cause. Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm, October 1 in the Performing Arts Center.
-If you lost a phone on Wednesday at the volleyball game please come by to room #143(counseling office) to claim it
-Reserve your copy of the new yearbook we are currently making! We sold out last year and many people did not get a chance to get a yearbook. Yearbooks will be on sale from Monday, September 26 until Sunday October 16. You can reserve a copy of the yearbook for $50! Yearbooks can be reserved by going to the Business Office or going online. Questions? Ask Mr. Kaup via email or in Room 101!.
-Do you need community service hours? Unified Robotics needs you! Unified Robotics is a student designed program bringing STEM to students with and without intellectual disabilities. Meetings start Wednesday Oct 5th, after school in room 500.
-College representatives are coming to talk to potential students! University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University, and Gonzaga University are coming soon to the career center. Get all of your questions answered! Stop by to sign up in the career center.
-Please come by the activities office to pick up your picture packet if you purchased one on Trojan Day.
-Come learn, celebrate and empower! Come join Black Student Union every other Monday starting TODAY after-school in the career center from 2:45-3:30pm.
-Newspaper Club and Yearbook Club will be meeting together this year starting at 2:45 and going until 3:30. Come join us as we work on the school publications as you are able. First meeting is Monday October 3rd in Room 101. See Mr. Kaup if you have any questions!
