Anyone interested in Speech & Debate should fill out the form above AND contact our Coach, Erika Pinto-Moore at edmoore@auburn.wednet.edu to get about registering for fall classes and summer practices.. You will be notified of any upcoming events, practices and any other pertinent information regarding the team. For advanced speakers, practices begin over the summer. Novice (beginner) practices begin immediately when school starts. Incoming Freshmen should enroll in the Debate 1 and 2 / CMST 201 Public Speaking through EWU  for the fall to receive the greatest benefit and skill building experience for public speaking and preparation for competition. The competitive season starts in September and runs through the academic year, ending with Nationals in June. As one of the top teams in the state AHSSD routinely sends competitors to State & National Championship Tournaments.
