  • Thanksgiving and Gratitude - Message from Dr. Spicciati 11/23/20

    We have a short week as we take a couple of days for Thanksgiving Break on Thursday and Friday. My list of things to be thankful for is very long, but right near the top is I am thankful for such a supportive community. These many months have been challenging, but as a community we have come together in so many ways. I am so fortunate to live and work here.

  • Meals During Thanksgiving Break

    To help make sure children in the ASD have sufficient food during the Thanksgiving break, the meal distribution schedule for next week is: Wednesday, November 25: Two breakfasts and two lunches will be provided to each child. Meals will be distributed at all current sites and bus routes at regular times. Thursday, November 26: No meal distribution. Friday, November 27.

  • Auburn Prevention Coalition Seeks Input

    The Auburn Prevention Coalition is looking for community input regarding youth substance use in Auburn. The community is invited to take a short survey (available in English and Spanish) about how adults perceive youth substance use.

  • Message from Superintendent Spicciati 11/6/20

    Since September, we have strived to provide a high-quality education for all of our students. With the decision to remain in Distance Learning until at least January, we asked our stakeholders for input about the current Distance Learning program and schedule via a recent survey. Close to 2,000 parents, 1,700 students and 800 teachers provided their input.

    Based on the progression of COVID-19 metrics and guidance from the health department, the earliest we will bring grades 3-12 back for in-person learning in a hybrid model is February 2.

  • Bus Stops and Times for Meals

    The ASD is providing breakfast and lunch for all children ages 1-18. No paperwork is required and adults may pick up meals for children. In addition to serving at all schools between 11:10 and 12:40, we are delivering to select bus stops throughout the ASD.
