  • Child Nutrition Mission Statement
Our Child Nutrition department's mission is to support students and families by offering nutritionally sound, healthy, well-balanced meals every day. Proper nutrition is the key to student learning and academic success. Nourishing breakfast and lunches are available at 23 schools each day, prepared on site. We serve over 4,500 breakfasts and 8,500 lunches each day in our district.

We offer a wonderful variety of fruits and vegetables on our salad bars. Whole grains, proteins, and a variety of low fat milk choices come with the salad bars each day. All meals are trans-fat free and meet the current USDA requirements regulating calories, fats, sugar, nutrients and serving size. Every school offers a variety of entrée choices and options on the salad bar.
