Technology Replacement Levy
The Auburn School District board of directors unanimously approved placing a six-year Technology Replacement Levy on the February 11 ballot. This levy will replace the 2014 levy that expires in 2020. The Technology Replacement levy will collect $5.8 million per year.A community Ad Hoc Committee of staff, parents, community members and administrators developed the recommendations for the 2020 Technology Replacement Levy. The purpose of the 2020 Technology Replacement levy is "to enable students to be successful and competitive in a globally connected society, emphasizing digital citizenship and 21st-century skills.
The 2020 Levy will maintain what the 2014 levy provided.
The 2020 levy also will expand, build capacity and support innovation.
King and Pierce County conduct all elections through mail-in ballots only. For voter registration visit www.kingcounty.gov/elections or in Pierce County www.co.pierce.wa.us/elections. Special exemption: Anyone 61 years of age or older or those who are 100% disabled from work may be exempt from voted levies and bonds.
