  • In accordance with our Ensuring Educational and Racial Equity policy (0050), one of the areas of focus in our work to achieve educational equity is employee retention and recruitment to reflect the diversity of our students in the Auburn School District.      As part of our continuing retention efforts, we are excited to begin convening Affinity groups for our employees. Affinity groups are a group of people linked by a common interest or purpose. They can help employers attract more diverse candidates, reduce turnover and increase employee morale, and are familiar to those who have participated in Courageous Conversations trainings in previous years. As we continue in our work to support each and every staff member and make Auburn as welcoming place for all, we will be offering groups.
